The six-unit 4 800MW Medupi Power Project is presently being constructed by Eskom in Lephalale. Some 400 foundations ranging in size from a few square meters to elements of hundreds of square meters are presently being constructed as part of the project.

Under final control by ARQ, each foundation is subject to a geotechnical mapping procedure to ensure that it meets the foundation design criteria.
