This development, to the north of Lynnwood road and adjacent to the new Lynnwood Interchange, requires multi-level basement parking. In order to accomplish this, vertical excavations up to 14m were designed by ARQ and constructed by GCD.

Design as per “Lateral Support in Surface Excavations” was supplemented by finite element analyses in which some 30mm of outward movement of the face was predicted. Monitoring during construction confirmed this latter value.
